UNPOPULAR – Part III

In the Matrix, even in religious circles, I find traces of the Matrixian virus which strikes with unpopularity, mockery and social exclusion for those who truly want to please Jesus.

In order not to be unpopular in the Matrix you need to:

• prefer your own traditions to the divine will revealed in the Bible
• respect the authority of human, fallible, mortal religious leaders more than divine authority
• worship the creature rather than the Creator
• love your religious denomination and doctrines more than Jesus, my only Saviour

Jesus wants to give me the strength to stand up to this Matrixian tyranny. Am I asking Him to do so?

Better to be unpopular with Jesus, than loved and praised by the Matrixian masses far off from Jesus.
